Pimento Cheese Spread (Low Carb & Gluten Free)

    PIMENTO CHEESE SPREAD

And let me just start by saying if you've never heard of Pimento Cheese then you're probably not from the south... Since it's definitely a Southern thing πŸ˜€ That along with a big bowl of Cheesy Grits!

Now even though you can easily find ready made versions of pimento cheese in the stores around here,  those don't even compare to the flavors in this homemade version. Just ask the hubster! πŸ˜†

But I guess that's true with almost anything you prepare yourself....just fresher... plus knowing exactly what's in everything is pretty high  on my list of importance!

And this homemade pimento cheese spread is super quick to prepare...in less then 10 minutes you an have a big bowl of this deliciousness.

You're especially going love dipping all your fresh veggies in this stuff or even spread it on a sandwich for an easy lunch.  Also a great way to get the kiddos to eat more veggies. πŸ˜†

Creamy Pimento Cheese Spread (Low Carb)

TIPS FOR MAKING THIS PIMENTO CHEESE SPREAD RECIPE

    • Make sure the cream cheese is softened
    • So you'll wanna pull it out of the fridge before getting started πŸ˜‰
    •  It's always better to use freshly grated cheese (not the kind you buy already shredded)
    • Buying cheese in blocks is recommended for almost any recipe
    • You can blend this together with just a fork but for easier mixing you could also use your hand mixer
    • The hot sauce doesn't make this spicy...it just enhances the flavor so don't skip that step

Now you're ready to enjoy this pimento cheese spread as a snack or part of your meal. And if you'd like a warm version of this recipe you should really check out this Pimento Cheese Soup...so much YUM!

So anywho, if you're into all things dippable like me....

This Creamy Pimento Cheese Spread is perfect with veggies, chips, crackers, & so much more. Perfect on a sandwich for a quick easy lunch or even delicious topped on a burger. Low Carb & Gluten Free.

My husband is from the south, so pimento cheese is almost a food group in our house. Yours looks delicious!

I haven't tried pimento spread before, doesn't make it easier when my lactose intolerant. I am a big fan of pimentos and the fact that you used to celery to dip is kinda cool. It looks delicious!

I've had a lot of cheese spreads, but don't think I've had a pimento version. Definitely adding this to the to do list!

Are pimentos the red things inside green olives? I think that was in the back recesses of my brain somewhere lol. I've never eaten this but it looks interesting! I bet the cheese and salty together are delicious. (Actually.. are the red things from the olives salty when they aren't in olive brine? I need to get out more. lol)

Yes they are...No they aren't real salty. If you like cheese or cheese spreads I think you'd really like this. Hope you give it a try and let me know if you do.

I am a big fan of this spread. A bakery I used to shoot for would make sandwiches with pimento cheese and red jelly. So good. This looks amazing!
