Pecans roasted with maple syrup and cinnamon are perfect for snacks and appetizers for parties & the holidays.
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil (unrefined)
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- sea salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Meanwhile melt coconut oil over low heat in small sauce pan.
Add maple syrup and cinnamon to coconut oil and stir.
Pour maple syrup mixture over pecan halves and stir to coat.
Spread pecans out on baking sheet and sprinkle generously with sea salt.
Bake in preheated oven 8-10 minutes.
Make sure to watch the pecans closely especially towards end and stir as necessary to keep from over browning.
Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container or zip lock bag.
