Okay friends...
So with the arrival of Spring we all know grilling season is about to be in FULL swing.
Or maybe you've already started depending on where you live.
But either way, I wanted to share this simple to prepare Homemade Barbecue Sauce.
Cause it's definitely perfect for all your grilling needs.
And once you try the homemade stuff... you'll never consider buying the store brands AGAIN.
Why make Homemade Barbecue Sauce at home?
Well the number 1️⃣ reason is flavor...
So much fresher then anything you can buy already prepared.
And it really is super easy to make... I mean like you throw a few ingredients in a pan and simmer.
But most importantly... you control the ingredients....
So no added refined sugars or other funky ingredients you can't pronounce.
Ingredients for this Homemade Barbecue Sauce recipe....
- Unsweetened Ketchup
- Tomato paste
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Blackstrap Molasses
- Pure Maple Syrup
- Coconut Aminos
- Smoked Paprika
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
How do you make Homemade Barbecue Sauce?
It's super easy to make on the stove top and only takes 15 minutes.
So you can make while you're firing up the grill.
Just throw all the ingredients in a saucepan.... stir.... and simmer.
And you can use it right away or allow to cool and store in a covered glass jar in the fridge.
How long will it last in the fridge?
As long as stored properly it should keep at least several weeks.
And this Barbecue sauce is great served on these grilled Cauliflower Steaks.
I mean..... come on... even your non vegan/vegetarian friends would love one of these.
What can I serve with this Barbecued Grilled Cauliflower Steak?
I like to serve it with potatoes and a salad.
My personal favorite is twice baked potatoes and a green salad.
