Kale + 10 minutes..What's not to love?
Hey Guys! And Happy Monday to you all and I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.
It was pretty interesting around here as we just saw our first snow fall of the year and it's March.
That's really not unusual around here...living in the great state of North Carolina it's what we're used to. Well except for the eighty degree weather we were experiencing in February.
And with that being slightly different I had to wonder what March was going bring us.
So with the light dusting we got it was pretty enough to remind me it's still officially Winter..which is Okay since I really do appreciate the changing of seasons.
And as I start thinking about Spring approaching, it also reminds me of more salads, smoothies and popsicle weather.
Do you guys start getting excited about that?
And since I love creating all these wonderful things I hope you'll hang out with me to Enjoy them all!
But anyway, let's get back to the recipe we have to share today... Easy, tasty, and totally addicting.

Can you freeze these if you made a whole lot?
Stephanie
Hi Sherri, I haven't tested freezing these but I think that would work okay! Let me know if you give it a try!
Emily
These are fabulous as a chip & I also made pizza roll ups by making a crust, topping it up pizza sauce, mozzarella & rolling it up & slicing it.It was a hit with my kale snobs even.
Stephanie
Thanks Emily and love the idea of making pizza roll ups!
Pam
After making some kale chips which is a huge waste of time for no more than you get, I thought of this idea in my head. And then I see that you already had the recipe tested! Exactly how I was going to do it. No wasting of the kale stems! I used previously grated cheese. I have made cheese chips often, and that’s a timesaver. Next time I’m going to make these using sliced cheese, maybe cut them into quarters. Good quality sliced cheese though. I used a cupcake pan! Keeps them uniform!
Pam
Seasoned with ranch dip mix. Just a smidge. Deeeeelish!

Yes!!!! Winner WINNER! 11 month old baby, 9 year old, myself 33 and dad 44 LOVE THEEEM! We wrap turkey inside them with avocado. We use them as a base for mini pizzas. Possibly the easiest thing to make and so many ways to use!!!
Stephanie
Yay! Glad to hear everyone loves them and thanks for sharing ways you like to use them!🥰
Emily
I was wondering about the wraps.I laid mine out in a solid rectangular shape to bake.
Dee
Can you make them in a dehydrator?
Stephanie
Hi Dee, I haven't personally tested the recipe in a dehydrator, so I can't say for sure. But I think it would work fine. Let me know if you try it!
Denise
I made these yesterday and they are delicious!! However, they are not very crispy...still tasty, but not crispy - any ideas on how to crisp them up?
Stephanie
You can try cooking them a little longer at a lower temperature and see if that crisps them up some. When you originally made them did you make sure they were thin flat circles? Also the the type of cheese you used could make a difference. Did you use already shredded cheese or grate it yourself? Let me know how if this helps.

these are so good, I love the cayenne in them
Stephanie
Thanks and the cayenne really brings out the flavor in them 🙂 One of my favorite snacks for sure!
Dave
Thanks, it's winter here in Tasmania and these will make a nice accompaniment to some home made bone broth!

What's the proper storage for any extra?
Stephanie
I usually keep any extras in a large zip lock bag in the fridge. But any covered container would work. Keeping them in the fridge just extends the life even though they don't last that long at my house 🙂
Molly Kumar

How did I not know you lived in NC?! We got our second snow of winter over the weekend... so I'm thinking you must live south of me? Anyways, the weather sure is crazy!
