Ingredients for this pumpkin smoothie
Ingredient notes
- Banana- use one frozen banana. To easily freeze, cut the banana into slices and lay on baking pan lined with parchment paper. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes to 1 hour until frozen solid.
- Coffee- cold brewed coffee.
- Pumpkin puree- Use the plain pumpkin puree and not the pumpkin pie puree.
- Plant based milk- unsweetened almond milk or any of your favorite milks.
- Pumpkin pie spice- if you don't have this you can substitute with a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger.
- Maple syrup- can be adjusted based on how sweet you like your smoothie.

Love your recipes and how simple you make them. But why bananas in every coffee smoothie recipe??? What can be substituted for that banana?? Please. Thank you!!
Stephanie
I've only tested this recipe using frozen banana so anything else you substitute is going to alter the flavor some. You could try frozen cauliflower, avocado or even frozen mangos. Let me know if you give it a try.
