    Kale + 10 minutes..What's not to love?

Hey Guys!  And Happy Monday to you all and I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

It was pretty interesting around here as we just saw our first snow fall of the year and it's March.

That's really not unusual around here...living in the great state of North Carolina it's what we're used to. Well except for the eighty degree weather we were experiencing in February.

And with that being slightly different I had to wonder what March was going bring us.

So with the light dusting we got it was pretty enough to remind me it's still officially Winter..which is Okay since I really do appreciate the changing of seasons.

    Four Ingredient Parmesan Kale Crisps

And as I start thinking about Spring approaching, it also reminds me of  more salads, smoothies and popsicle weather.

Do you guys start getting excited about that?

And since I love creating all these wonderful things I hope you'll hang out with me to Enjoy them all!

But anyway, let's get back to the recipe we have to share today... Easy, tasty, and totally addicting.

HOW TO MAKE PARMESAN KALE CRISPS

    1. Preheat the oven and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
    2. Finely grate the parmesan cheese
    3. Add seasoning to cheese
    4. Chop the kale with your food processor
    5. Mix together with cheese
    6. Spoon on to baking sheet and bake

TIPS FOR MAKING THIS PARMESAN CRISPS RECIPE

    1. Buy block of parmesan cheese- you don't want the bags of already shredded cheese
    2. Make sure to finely chop the kale- this works best in a food processor
    3. You'll want to watch them closely the last few minutes of cooking

After making some kale chips which is a huge waste of time for no more than you get, I thought of this idea in my head. And then I see that you already had the recipe tested! Exactly how I was going to do it. No wasting of the kale stems! I used previously grated cheese. I have made cheese chips often, and that’s a timesaver. Next time I’m going to make these using sliced cheese, maybe cut them into quarters. Good quality sliced cheese though. I used a cupcake pan! Keeps them uniform!

I made these yesterday and they are delicious!! However, they are not very crispy...still tasty, but not crispy - any ideas on how to crisp them up?

You can try cooking them a little longer at a lower temperature and see if that crisps them up some. When you originally made them did you make sure they were thin flat circles? Also the the type of cheese you used could make a difference. Did you use already shredded cheese or grate it yourself? Let me know how if this helps.

I usually keep any extras in a large zip lock bag in the fridge. But any covered container would work. Keeping them in the fridge just extends the life even though they don't last that long at my house 🙂

How did I not know you lived in NC?! We got our second snow of winter over the weekend... so I'm thinking you must live south of me? Anyways, the weather sure is crazy! Another thing is crazy, the fact that I love kale and have yet to make kale crisps... or chips for that matter. These look AMAZING, Stef!! And they are only 4 ingredients? Consider it done. I'm doin' this. Pronto! Cheers, girlie! <3
