Especially if you’re looking for a last minute side or salad that’s sure to be a hit with almost anyone.
Salads are always a good option to include with a meal or even perfect when entertaining and you need an easy side dish.
And grape salad is a favorite since….
It’s super easy to make and requires only five ingredients not including the grapes.
Can be made in one bowl, ready in minutes and great for potlucks and gatherings.
Kid friendly and also great for snacking or a healthier dessert.
Should you use Red or Green Grapes?
You could actually use either… just make sure they’re seedless.
I prefer to use red grapes over the green ones since…..
they tend to be a little sweeter and are thought to have greater health benefits than the green ones.
Red grapes are considered a healthier choice since the skin of the grapes contain antioxidants that are known for fighting disease.
Probably the same reason they say red wine 🍷 is better for you than white.
Anywho, this salad is definitely a tasty way to get in a serving of fruit when you’re looking to snazy it up a bit! 😉
Do I need to add Pecans?
This is totally optional but recommended for the crunch factor and added protein.
You could also substitute a different kind of nut if you prefer…. such as walnuts, cashews or whatever you have on hand.
And if your New years resolutions includes eating more salad then I hope you’ll give this a try.
