- Dark Chocolate Chips
- Almond Butter- or another nut butter such as cashew or peanut butter
- Coconut Oil- unrefined
- Chopped Pecans- optional
Stir in chopped nuts if desired, then pour into parchment lined loaf pan and chill in freezer for approximately one hour.
Remove from freezer and allow to sit at room temperature 5-10 minutes prior to slicing into pieces.
RECIPE NOTES FOR MAKING CHOCOLATE FUDGE
Gently lift fudge out of loaf and place on cutting board to slice.
If you're trying to achieve even uniform sizes of fudge you can measure size of your pan and cut accordingly.
One inch size pieces will give you approximately 21 slices of fudge.
Once sliced store in airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 weeks or freezer for longer storage.
SUBSTITUTIONS FOR MAKING THIS
You could use semi-sweet chocolate chips if you prefer.
Cashew butter or peanut butter instead of almond butter.
Leave out nuts altogether or substitute pecans with walnuts, macadamia nuts, or almonds would all be good choices.
