Do they turn out very garlic-oniony? Wondering how they would be for a breakfast biscuit with honey or jam?
Stephanie
I don't notice them being super garlicky or oniony? You could always leave the garlic and onion out. But personally I'd eat them as a breakfast biscuit with some honey! 😋 Let me know if you try them.
Teresa
Tried tonight for the first time, they were a hit!
I’m newly allergic to nuts and can’t have almond flour so thanks for making this! We didn’t have the onion powder so it definitely was coconut tasting BUT we didn’t mind! Next time we’ll have it.

I've been meaning to play around with coconut flour a bit more - I agree I quite like the taste though it doesn't go with everything and is a little different in how it interacts with other ingredients. These sound interesting and might have to go on my to try list.

Oh, I know these are good! I just made a similar biscuit except with almond flour. I'm anxious to try yours with coconut flour. These look so tender and delicious. Perfect with a bowl of soup!
Stephanie
Thanks Sandra and Yes best biscuit I've made in years 🙂
Katherine
Does the coconut flour make the biscuits grainer? or the same texture as flour biscuit?
Stephanie
Katherine I honestly haven't had a regular flour biscuit in years since going gluten free. But I can tell you that from what I remember these are better than an other biscuit I made before going gluten free. They are light and just slightly dense. I love the flavor of the coconut flour in these. Hope this helps 🙂
Theresa
Made these I used plant base butter and plant base just eggs 1 tsp of garlic powder not and onion powder and also added some crispy bacon pieces make great breakfast sandwich
