Watermelon Radish Feta Salad is great to serve at a cookout or any family gathering. If you’re looking for an additional salad to throw together last minute for your next BBQ this one is perfect. It has the nice sweetness of the watermelon married together with the onion and cilantro.
I’ve always been a cilantro lover and use a lot in my recipe for Garden Fresh Salsa. Fresh salsa is so much better than any kind you can buy already prepared and it’s really pretty simple to prepare. So this recipe was created with my salsa in mind and also a watermelon salad I had prepared in the past.
I think salads are great to serve for gatherings because of their simplicity and most people really like them. You really can’t go wrong serving up a variety of salads and I think this Watermelon Radish Feta Salad would definitely be a hit.
So anyway with the Memorial Day holiday coming up real soon I’m trying to experiment with as many different salad and vegetarian barbeque foods as I can. I can’t believe we are approaching the beginning of June so quickly. Seems like I just put the Christmas things away.
I guess it’s true, the older you get the faster it seems that time flies. Or is that just me? I think part of it is doing something you love. Hey, it took me awhile to get here but that’s okay maybe I even appreciate it more. And having some great tasty salads to create and prepare for the upcoming summer is what does it for me.
I think my love for wanting to eat good food and my creative side is what kind of got me here. Anyway I hope you enjoy this Watermelon Radish Feta Salad along with some of my other summertime inspirations.
