    5 Minute core workout

    I personally find planks to be one of the most effective exercises for the core. That's why they are always included in my fitness regimen. I kind of have a love hate relationship with planks. But the more you do them the easier they become. So here is a quick workout if you're short on time. That's one of the biggest excuses people give for not exercising, they don't have time. So if you have five minutes and a living room floor I think you're in. Start with 30 seconds per plank if you're a beginner and work you're way up.

                                     In case your questioning, what is a ⇓ dolphin plank? When my husband looked at this workout that was his first comment. It's just a plank on your elbows rather than the standard upright position.
