Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 3-4 cloves minced garlic 1 tbsp. minced
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • ½ tsp. red chili pepper flakes
  • 3 ½ tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • optional:
  • top with shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Trim bottoms off brussels sprouts & cut in half.
  • Heat olive oil over medium high heat in large skillet
  • Add sliced brussels sprouts to heated pan and generously season with salt & pepper.
  • Cook 8-10 minutes until starting to brown.
  • Add butter and then garlic once butter has melted.
  • Cook about 4-5 more minutes.
  • Add balsamic vinegar & cook just another minute.
  • Sprinkle with red chili pepper flakes and stir.
  • Top with optional parmesan cheese.
