ChickPea Salad with Green Peas

Chick peas and green peas together in a protein packed salad that tastes good as a snack or dinner.

  • 1 15.5 ounce Can Garbanzo beans chick peas
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 1/4 red onion finely diced
  • 1/2 cup frozen green peas rinsed
  • 1 clove garlic finely chopped
  • 2/3 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • couple dashes hot sauce


  • Rinse chickpeas and drain well. Pulse chickpeas in food processor or mash with fork or potato masher to desired consistency.
  • Meanwhile chop celery, onion, and garlic and add to chickpeas. Add in green peas.
  • In separate small bowl combine mayo, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, dried dill weed, salt & pepper, and hot sauce.
  • Mix well.
  • Serve immediately or you can store covered in the fridge for up to a week.


Vegan Option- use vegan mayo
