Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. tahini
  • ½ tsp. cumin
  • 1 15 ounce can black beans
  • 1 jalapeno diced
  • 1 ½ tbsp. olive oil divided**
  • handful of fresh cilantro
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Place all of the above ingredients in the food processor and pulse until smooth.
  • Spoon in to serving bowl and top with olive oil, fresh cilantro & chopped jalapeno.

Notes

**reserve ½ tbsp. for topping
can also garnish with cayenne pepper, chopped jalapeños or cilantro for additional heat & taste
