So here I sit writing about my regular breakfast routine when I really need to be thinking about dinner. But I guess someone is having breakfast somewhere right now so that’s okay. This is pretty much my weekday morning ritual. I guess the weekend too , but sometimes I’ll have some brunch on the weekends as well. I consider Apples to one of the most awesome foods. You’ll never show up at my house and not find any apples in the refrigerator.
My husband Scott is responsible for our apple inventory and he does a pretty good job at it, except for that one time he let us run out. Bad morning for him, just kidding. I actually got up and had to run to the store that morning just so we could have them for breakfast. Since then he has never let us run out again. But other than that, I do all the meal planning and keeping up with our fresh food inventory.
This is so simple and easy so there is no reason to ever skip breakfast. After all it is the most important meal of the day. I totally like to dunk my apples in crunchy almond butter, but they are also good dunked in peanut butter. I eat this every morning before my workout. I mean why mess with perfection, this is everything you need. Occasional I’ll throw some strawberries in the mix if I have any. Sometimes its harder to find organic strawberries. I always make sure to only buy Organic strawberries and apples. I believe they both made the list of the top dirty dozen.
